Capsule review

A criminal (Vincent Curatola) hires two simpleminded thugs (Scoot McNairy and Ben Mendelsohn) to rob a rival’s card game. They succeed at first but, this being a movie, things eventually go wrong. Ray Liotta and Brad Pitt play two of the rivals, who aim to get their money back. Uh-oh. Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford) directs. Rated R. 97 minutes.
